Powering the Zero-Carbon Future: PHONO Showcases Sustainable Energy Solutions at BEPOSITIVE 2025 in
2025-03-29From March 25 to 27, 2025, PHONO made a remarkable appearance at BEPOSITIVE 2025, France's largest and most influential renewable energy and integrated construction exhibition, held at the Eurexpo Lyon, France. The event provided PHONO with a strategic platform to demonstrate its low-carbon innovations and strengthen its foothold in the local market.
Policy-Driven Growth in France's Solar Sector
France has accelerated its energy transition through incentives such as the S21 differentiated Feed-in Tariff (FiT) mechanism and VAT reductions. Driven by policy support and market demand in recent years, the country's solar industry has surged in 2024 to a record high. The 2024 Energy Transition Act further mandates solar installations for parking lots exceeding 1,500 m², creating a structural growth opportunity estimated to unlock over 12 GW of PV Carport installations in the following three years.
Tailored Solutions for Diverse Applications
PHONO spotlighted its N-type Draco Series modules (455-620W), designed for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects. With up to 23.3% conversion efficiency and a 30-year linear power warranty, the Draco series combines safety, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, drawing significant interest from attendees.
Integrated PV Carport Systems: Redefining Urban Spaces
In addition, PHONO unveiled its all-in-one PV carport solution, featuring lightweight Draco modules and modular mounting systems. The system enables users to mitigate the impact of rising electricity costs and enhance self-consumption by integrating battery storage and EV charging. By merging shade, power generation, and EV charging, it maximizes parking space value while providing a scalable, standardized model for France’s green urban development.
Carbon Footprint Breakthrough: Localized Competitive Edge
PHONO has obtained the ECS PPE2 certification, a mandatory requirement for PV projects above 100 kW in France, by achieving an industry-leading carbon footprint of 388 kg kg eq CO₂/kWc across the entire product life cycle. This certification not only serves as a “green passport” for the French market but also underscores PHONO's expertise in full lifecycle low-carbon management and bolsters its global competitiveness.
Aligned with global net zero goals, PHONO will deepen R&D in cross-sector integration of PV with carports, buildings, agriculture, and energy storage. By advancing ESG practices and smart energy networks, the company aims to empower France and other markets toward sustainable development. Moving forward, PHONO aims to collaborate with global partners, leveraging green technology to build a cleaner, more resilient, and more sustainable future.
