On September 18, 2025, SUMEC Energy's subsidiary Phono Solar (PHONO) held a long-term partnership award ceremony with UK's renowned distributor WE Company, honoring their 15 years of sincere cooperation and mutual growth. In autumn 2025, the UK will enact the Future Homes Standard, mandating that the vast majority of new homes in England must install photovoltaic systems from 2027 onwards, along with energy storage and heat pump equipment, to establish an integrated "generation-storage-consumption" energy loop. The country plans to significantly increase its total installed PV capacity from 20GW in 2024 to 70GW by 2035.
