Nanjing June 7th, 2012–Phono Solar today announced its selection of Tigo Energy®, the market leader in Smart ModuleTM technology for photovoltaic (PV) solar installations, to incorporate Tigo Energy’s Smart ModuleTM Technology into their new INTELLIGENT-TI module.
Phono Solar’s new INTELLIGENT-TI module Optimized by Tigo Energy delivers Maximum system uptime, immediately spotting faults and issues with solar arrays. The product features MPPT per panel for maximum system energy generation. The INTELLIGENT-TI module is the safest solar system available with module-level deactivation in case of emergency or maintenance.
The Phono Solar INTELLIGENT-TI module integrates the Tigo Energy Optimizer into a specialized junction box designed by Amphenol Industrial. This partnership delivers an innovative product line that offers unparalleled flexibility, lower total cost of ownership, and reduced maintenance costs while optimizing energy generation. The optimizer solution enables owners of PV projects of any size (residential, commercial or utility scale) to track their assets and increase financial returns by improving power production, ensuring peak system up-time and drastically reducing the cost of operations and maintenance (O&M). The Maximizer has been specifically tuned to INTELLIGENT-TI module and includes SmartCurve technology, allowing for longer strings, further increasing system productivity and reducing BOS costs.
