On May 23, 2024, BloombergNEF (BNEF) released its list of Tier 1 global photovoltaic module manufacturers for the second quarter of 2024. PHONO has once again secured a spot on the Tier 1 list with its strong bankability, reliable product quality, and outstanding global project performance.

As one of the most credible industry research institutions in the global renewable energy sector, BNEF has been deeply engaged in the photovoltaic industry for many years. It set rigorous rating standards for photovoltaic module manufacturers and the results of its evaluations are highly credible. BNEF objectively evaluates the comprehensive performance of major solar photovoltaic module manufacturers from multiple dimensions, including product reliability, project scale, bank financing capabilities, etc. It aims to make transparent differentiation among hundreds of photovoltaic module manufacturers worldwide and serves as an important basis for investment and financing decisions in global photovoltaic projects. 

Starting from the first quarter of 2024, BNEF further raised the threshold for evaluating global projects of photovoltaic manufacturers. The project scale in the evaluation criteria was increased from the previous 1.5 MW to 5 MW, which means companies that are selected for Tier 1 must have provided 5 MW or more of their own brand and self-produced module products for six different photovoltaic projects in the past two years. Also, these projects must have obtained non-recourse financing from six different commercial banks. The increase in project capacity has significantly raised the Tier 1 threshold. Being selected for this list again strongly demonstrates that PHONO's high reliability has stood the test of the market.
