SA8000 Certified! A Significant Milestone of PHONO in Social Responsibility

On August 1st, PHONO had successfully passed the SA8000 social responsibility management system audit and obtained the SA8000:2014 social responsibility certification by TÜV ITALIA S.r.l., verified by Social Accountability International (SAI). It is a significant achievement that reflects PHONO’s unwavering commitment to social responsibility, ethical business practices, as well corporate sustainability.

The SA8000 certification is a global recognition of an organization's dedication to maintaining high standards in labor conditions, workers' rights, and social accountability. It is an overall framework applicable to the entire industry globally, aiming to help certified organizations demonstrate their efforts in treating employees fairly. The SA8000 Standard is based on internationally recognized standards of decent work, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO conventions, covering the standard elements of child labor, forced labor, health and safety, discrimination, working hours, remuneration, etc. The adoption of SA8000 will create a positive impact on enterprises in establishing international credibility, building positive emotions with customers, obtaining the long-term cooperation confidence of partners, and achieving humanized management. It is a demonstration of PHONO's efforts in creating a workplace environment that values the safety, health, human rights, welfare, and well-being of every employee.
